Listing and Organization of Grimshaw Origins Webpages

The Grimshaw Origins website was initiated in July 2000 and was changed from FrontPage to WordPress in 2016. Many improvements have been made since the transfer. As of March 2021 the website includes over 370 webpages. They are listed below on this webpage generally in the order in which they were created.

The website covers many facets of Grimshaw origins and history, which are organized in the following categories.

Origins of the Grimshaw Surname
Early Grimshaw Family Lines in England and Ireland
Involvement of Grimshaw Family Members in the Industrial Revolution
Grimshaw Immigrants to the New World and Around the Globe
Prominent Grimshaw Individuals and Families
Miscellaneous Grimshaw Individuals and Information

The 370 webpages have been classified in these six categories, which may be seen on a companion webpage. Links to the “parent” pages for the six categories also appear in the drop-down menu, “Menu to Primary Webpages” in the upper right corner of all pages on the website.

The original Grimshaw Origins website in FrontPage still exists. A list of its webpages, along with links to their location, is on another companion webpage.

List of Webpages in Order of Date Created

As webpages were added to the Grimshaw Origins website, they were recorded on a “What’s New” webpage. The list on that page has been used as the primary source to create the table shown below. The table has been sorted by month and then alphabetically for the entries in each month. (This sort differs from the original “What’s New” list, which is in the order each page was created within each month.) The column “Order” comprises a unique number for each webpage.
