At least three of the five Grimshaws in the Regiment were killed in action on July 1 or 2, 1916. Another was killed the following February in a subsequent action.

In compiling this list I have attempted to include as many as possible of those officers and men who joined the Battalion prior to the 1st July attack on Serre.
